good game great performance by the botaks especially nich-wat a smashin goal!! absolutely bamboozled the defence with his split-second flashy footwork and lightning speed-they dont call him the king of stepovers for nothing!!
and did i even mention the immense ferocity and precise accuracy of the culminating shot which inevitably nestled nicely in the back of the net.almost tore it too ya.
WHAT A GOAL!such a special wonder will be talked about for generations to come.
enough bout the boy wonder.it's almost unbelievable that he's only 19.offers from the giants of european football will come knocking, no doubt.sure took a while coming, this goal, but the critics were surely silenced by this dynamite of a goal.
it was an outstanding overall performance by the team, from the yuchong all the way at the back to keith and choo at the front.the botaks defended well and kept possession when it mattered most.the scoreline did not reflect the actual dominance of the botaks, which could've actually scored 5 or 6 more if not for wasteful finishing and spurned chances.the botak goal was rarely threatened and even on occasions when it was, the backline comprising of ANDY,ZARIR,JAIN and NICH held firm and remained an impregnable fortress.the solitary goal which was conceded in the pre-match warm-up (we gave it to them even though it was common consensus that the match was yet to start..nich had not even stepped into his boots yet) only served to fire up the team and thus started the great interplay among the midfield of DU,MEL,MIAN and DEDI.super wingplay from DU kept the left side of the opposing defence busy, while the two central figures in the middle of the park kept the play flowing smoothly with the exceptional vision from MIAN and superb covering play from MEL, leaving the opposition pegged back in their six-yard box for most of the game.
always deserving a mention is the strikeforce of this team, KEITH and CHOO.a powerful and clean header from a guided-missile corner from DU was the first of many chances for star striker KEITH, this which he converted.CHOO provided much flair with his one touch flicks and passes, even though most of the time he wasn't on the same frequency with the rest of the team.but it was a joy to watch nevertheless.
great job botaks.
